A voice revealing a soul.
I’ve had a passion for music and writing since a young girl.  Once I got the basic chords down on guitar I began strumming and singing in bars around the Dallas/Ft. Worth area; including the famous White Elephant Saloon in the Ft. Worth Stockyards. 

Moving to Mississippi at 24, I found myself welcomed with open arms on the local music scene.  An opportunity came my way to be a back-up singer for the very successful, original delta blues band The Chitlins, on the MS Gulf Coast.  Surrounded by professional musicians and performing in major venues I learned a great deal.  Another great opportunity followed, to be the lead singer of my own band.  In 2017, Candace Bush and Greens Creek Revival was formed.  Over the three years, the band morphed and is now known as Twice As Hard.  I grew as a performer, learning even more about all that goes into putting on a great show.  Grateful of this experience, I decided to take some time from the band scene to write and hone my guitar skills and now play solo acoustic shows regularly around Hattiesburg, MS.

 
I play a wide variety of genres; including classic rock, country, 90s rock, R&B, and soul.  Leaving all that I have on stage night after night to connect with every single individual in the crowd through the chords and lyrics of my performance.  I don’t just want you to hear the song, I strive for you to feel it. 

Experiencing the love and appreciation from local music supporters is warming beyond measure.  Connecting with those through the universal language is a honor and privilege blessed upon me.
